How does a vacuum pan work?

Vacuum packing is very simple. When you place the food in the container and close the lid, you place the vacuum pump in the slot provided on the lid so that it draws the air inside the container. Once all the air has been sucked out, the lid closes tightly, creating a sealed environment around the food.

What is the main use of vacuum containers?

One of the main reasons why sous vide bins are so popular is that they enable food to stay fresher for longer. With no access to oxygen and no air flow, food can be preserved up to five times longer than in ordinary containers.

What are the advantages of vacuum packing?

Food preservation is one of the main advantages of the vacuum pan. Foods placed in them retain their freshness and nutritional qualities much more easily. Flavor and aromas are also preserved for longer thanks to this preservation process.

Low-temperature cooking is another feature of the sous vide container. This helps preserve nutrients and vitamins.

What types of foodstuffs can be preserved in a sous vide container?

You can preserve a wide variety of foods such as fruit, meat, fish and vegetables in a vacuum. Foods preserved in this way can be stored for longer without the risk of spoilage. Shelf life varies according to type and use.

What's more, the sous vide tray is very practical for refrigerating leftovers or ready-made meals. So you can easily preserve your dishes for later use.
